The story
High on Amberhill, where the rooftops glow the color of toasted honey, a small crested creature named Homi wakes up every day before the roosters. Homi has one very important job: making sure the village starts its morning with a smile.
One morning, the sky stayed a sleepy gray. The sun had overslept. Without its warmth, the market stalls stayed shut, the clouds forgot to drift, and even the gold coins that line the old trail lost their sparkle.
Homi laced up and set off down the trail with a simple plan: gather every sun coin along the way and carry that glow back up the hill. Wooden crates tumbled across the path and old signs hung low, but a good runner knows when to leap and when to duck.
Every meter Homi runs makes the sky a little warmer. Nobody knows how far the trail really goes, and maybe that is the best part. Lace up and see how far you can take the sunshine.
Getting started
On the trail
Shiny little treasures scattered along the path. Collect them to unlock new looks for Homi.
A glowing sun that protects Homi from one collision, followed by a short moment of safety to get moving again.
For about eight seconds, nearby coins fly straight toward Homi. Great for grabbing a high arc of treasure.
Single crates are easy to hop. Later on, wider stacks appear, so timing your jump matters more.
Too high to jump over, perfect to slide under. A quick swipe down keeps Homi safe.
Make it yours
Spend the coins you collect on fresh looks for Homi. Outfits are purely for fun and do not change how the game plays.
Looking for a challenge? Open Trail Goals from the main menu to track six little milestones, from your first long run to a lifetime of wandering. Completed goals are announced on the results screen.
Good to know
Yes. You can play the whole game without paying. Coins are earned only by playing and can only be spent inside the game on outfits.
No. Just open the game and start running. There is no registration, no login, and no password to remember.
Your best distance, coins, outfits, goals, and sound setting are saved on your own device. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app will reset them, and progress does not move between devices.
No. The game does not ask for access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or notifications. It only needs to display the game and, if you switch it on, play simple sound effects.
Sound is off by default so the game never surprises you in a quiet place. Open the main menu or pause screen and tap the Sound button to switch it on or off at any time.
The game pauses automatically when you switch apps or lock your screen, so you never lose a run by accident. Tap Keep Running when you are ready to continue.
Collecting a sun lets Homi survive one collision. After the shield is used, Homi briefly flashes and cannot be hit for a moment, so you can recover your rhythm. Only one shield can be held at a time.
Open Outfits from the main menu. Tap an outfit you can afford to unlock and wear it. Coins are only spent when you unlock something, and you can switch between owned outfits whenever you like.
Yes. Press Space, the Up arrow, or W to jump. Press the Down arrow or S to slide. Press Esc or P to pause and resume.
An internet connection is needed to load the game. Once it has loaded, it runs smoothly on your device.
CHUNR Homi is a cartoon-style runner with no violence, no scary scenes, and no mature themes. It is made to be a light, cheerful way to pass a few minutes.
